Designed for the Third Annual Summer Palace Design Festival, this product draws inspiration from "tenacity" and "vitality," using the Grand Waterworks, a symbol of Yuanmingyuan, as its design foundation. Departing from traditional ways of designing for the Summer Palace, the design showcases the imperfections and "scars" as focal points, symbolizing rebirth and rejuvenation through innovative functionality. As a vase, fresh flowers emerge from the cracks, symbolizing unyielding resilience. The act of placing flowers in the vase resonates with echoes of history, the present, and the future—signifying endurance through hardships and flourishing.
